2012 Process Quality Study on AP Automation

The Institute of Financial Operations recently conducted a groundbreaking global survey of accounts payable (AP) professionals, seeking to better understand the benefits of AP automation technologies.  These applications, which have experienced a rapid increase in adoption in the past few years, include a vast number of options—document imaging, approval/workflow, e-invoicing, p-cards, EDI, intelligent data capture, dynamic discounting and others—each presenting their own conception of what “automation” truly entails.  

The 2012 Process Quality Study, which explores both the perceived and observed impact of such technologies on AP processes, sheds light not only on their cost impact, but on the accuracy, efficiency and strategic benefits, as well.
